I'm working from brand-spanking-new documentation in the MSVC7 (".net")
beta.  This can be just as misleading, I'm sure. :-)

I poached a lot of OpenGL code from ODE's drawstuff library, and converted
several function calls from glDoWhateverf to glDoWhateverd to get rid of
some compiler warnings.  It worked for me, but it could just be me, or
Win2k, or the new compiler, or the limited subset of OpenGL that I'm
using.
