[ODE] GIMPACT collisions not working?

I was starting to look at refactoring ODE colliders in preparation for
the Bullet integration and noticed that, at least on my system,
collisions between primitive shapes and trimeshes is not working in
demo_trimesh when I use GIMPACT. The shapes just fall right through
the mesh.

Collisions DO work in demo_moving_trimesh.

Is this a known problem or is something wrong on my system? It appears
that there is code in place to handle primitive-trimesh collisions.
