[ODE] TriMesh - do we need to sort triangles?

ist again me with my small trimesh problems. Trimesh collision detection
works quite well for our maps, the funny thing is, that if the triangles
vertexpoints are not clockwise sorted, the bodies fall through the floor.
So my question to you is: does ODE do the normal vector calculation for
physics base on the vertexpoint order? And if so, do you know any function
to skip that?
