[ODE] Simulation of tank

GTA 3 used 3 wheels per side in tanks IIRC. I think your problem might be  
related with outer tires rotating more than inner ones (circle radius is  
bigger when the tank is rotating without traslating). Therefore you may  
want to send less torque the closer the wheels are to tank center of  
rotation.
