libfast and libopcode are intermediate libraries, they do get rolled 
into libode (or rather their object files),
libfast is a workaround the fact that you cant specify per file compiler 
flags in autotools,
opcode is a similar situation, it both requires different flags and its 
easier for the user to
link against a single library.
