[ODE] ODE and Ubuntu

What versions of automake and autoconf are you using?

automake --version
autoconf --version

should give you the answer, on MinGW I have

automake 1.9.6
autoconf 2.59

It builds fine, I'll check on Linux tomorrow as I am having troubles at 
home with it.
