[ODE] Trimesh-Trimesh updates ?

There has been a lot of talk about trimesh collisions lately. Has anyone 
come up yet with a way to handle trimesh-trimesh collisions without 
explosions or sinking ? What do you SoftImage guys out there do to handle 
these ?
I am still hacking ODE's 0.5 collider trying to make it work but there are 
always some essential contacts missed that eventually lead to disaster.
