[ODE] VC6 Build

Good idea, I've made the changes, edited the ReadMe with details of the two
different approaches, and sent the lot to Russ for CVS inclusion.  I also
fixed a couple of little issues and added export-dif.cpp (which was needed
to link the latest src).
