FW: [ODE] how to glue bodies together ?

You guys are beginning to worry me a bit with this thread. We are using the
fixed joint on our vehicles at the
moment. It works fine. I have never seen them miss behave. They hold all the
sub bodies together until crash time when
breakable joints let relevant bit break off. It works. It makes code very
neat and is in line with the ODE architecture.
Can anyone let me know what may bite our bums if we use fixed joints in
production. Would a slider with limits be faster than
fixed joints.
