[ODE] TriMesh and double

Hi,

I am trying to compile ode with TriMesh and double precision under 
Linux, but the Makefile tells me this is impossible:

Makefile:76: *** OpCode-enabled builds require PRECISION=SINGLE for 
correct operation..  Stop.

However, I saw recently files like:

VC6/_configs/config-double-trimesh.h
VC6/_configs/config-double.h
VC6/_configs/config-single-trimesh.h
VC6/_configs/config-single.h

Which let me think this is probably possible with Visual C++ and should 
be somehow possible with Linux as well ?
Shall I try to hack the Makefile ?
