[ODE] Walking Viewer

Hi

I'm also relatively new to ODE. You could use ODE for the collision detecting. 
But I can't think of any other reason to use ODE for your application. It 
doens't seem to have any physics except for bumping into walls and floors.

If you have very little knowledge about perfoming collision detection (like 
me) then it is a good idea to use ODE. It's realy simple to do the collision 
detection and response. Just have a look at chapter 9 of the documentation 
(http://opende.sourceforge.net/ode-0.035-userguide.html#ref61).
