[ODE] problem compiling ODE using MinGW

Hello, I am having problems when building ODE under win32 platform.
Everything runs fine in the make process, but when it reaches this step

windres -I rc -O coff drawstuff/src/resources.rc -o lib/resources.RES

I get the contents of the drawstuff/src/resources.rc dumped to the screen, 
and then this error message:

windres: no resources
C:\DEV-CPP\BIN\MAKE.EXE: *** [lib/resources.RES] Error 1


What is going on, can anybody help? I am using make 2.13, and MinGW 3.2.
