You will find people here who can and will help you with ODE.  But, here
on the ODE mailing list, you might not find people here who can or will
help you with CS.  You weren't being told off, you were only being
reminded that your question was outside the scope of this mailing list.

I'm not even sure what CS is... I'm guessing it's CrystalSpace?  Also note
that I and many others here develop under Win32, and know next to nothing
about shared libraries under Linux.  There are some Linux folks here on
the list though, so you might find some help, but since this is a mailing
list for ODE, you should consider yourself lucky if you do get help with
shared libraries under Linux, not "told off" if you don't get that help
here.

That said, you did have an ODE-related question, and I can help:

If you're using CrystalSpace, you don't need ODE's drawstuff code.  You
can remove that file (and anything else under the /drawstuff/ directory)
from your ODE build.
