[ODE] gyroscopes

Interesting.  I wonder if it will work; I'd have to bet against it since:

in ODE the effects are instantaneous are they not?  There is no
opportunity for precession.  But heck it would be interesting to see if
there are any interesting effects.

I've always liked the way gyroscopes are a kind of macroscopic evidence of
the flow of time...
