okay, thanks very much. i'll add your code but i'm in no position to
test it here (i dont use SDL). i'll try to get CVS up over the next
week, so that ODE changes are immediately visible (as such, you could
quickly verify that i had pluggeg your code in correctly, etc).

BTW, for all concerned, i will start a "contributors" section in the
documentation (or on the web pages) listing all who are involved.
